My name was chosen to win a Zen Chic pattern. I could choose one of Zen Chic's 47 PDF patterns!
After looking at them, I realized I would likely never make any of them. Not because they aren't great. They are! But because I'm trying more often to challenge myself to create my own designs. Not always, but more frequently.
So, after swapping emails with Brigitte Heitland - she is Zen Chic - she wholeheartedly backed my idea to make the $11.95 pattern PDF a giveaway on my blog.
This is the link to the 47 patterns that one lucky winner will have to choose from! Below is the pattern I probably would have chosen.
THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED.
Here are the easy things to do:
- Comment. If you're a "no-reply commenter," be sure to include your email address in your comment, so I can notify you if you're the winner.
- In your comment, please recommend a book, movie, or TV series... so I can enjoy it too!
THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED.
I'm looking forward to hearing from many of you who otherwise never comment on my blog posts!
By the way, the latest good book I read is "The Orphan Train" by Christina Baker Kline. The story is based in truth, about children traveling by train from the East to various Midwest stations where they are "adopted" to work. It will tug your heartstrings. Linda
I recommend any book by Jill Mansell.
ReplyDeleteI love the Mega Star pattern! I have seen it on-line and have drooled over it every time I see it.
ReplyDeleteIf you have Netflix, I would highly recommend The Crown. If you don't like historical shows and are more in to reality shows, The Great British Baking Show is awesome, too!

I love the look of the X’s and O’s pattern! Have you read any Michael Robotham? I can recommend his, I’ve been a fan from the beginning!
ReplyDeleteThis is really a great idea. Instead of just choosing a pattern you would probably not use, I have a chance to win Gray Labyrinth. I recently watched Sharp Objects and thought it was pretty good with a twist at the end.

ReplyDeleteI love Zen Chic designs, both in patterns and fabric! Thanks for the chance, Linda. Fred and I are watching all of the old ER shows. Did you know there were 15 seasons? We are currently watching season 10.

ReplyDeleteConstrasting is a great looking pattern!!
So nice to pay it forward. I am a huge fan of medical dramas and am watching ER reruns. Not even sure I know what season I am on now, just enjoying it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice idea! I've been enjoying a series of books - #1 Ladies Detective Agency, nice short books, and really fun to read!
ReplyDeletecongrats on your win and how nice of you to share. I find so many shows these days are very dark in content and filmography, have characters that you can not connect to and have plots told entirely out of sequence. However, I highly recommend Longmire. I cared about the characters, it opened my eyes to the American Indian issues and each story was well told. I also really enjoyed Hinterland and Shetland which also include beautiful scenery. Janice.snell@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI keep reading just don’t find time to write a comment on your posts. I’m currently reading Unoffendable by Brant Hansen. I think you’d really like it, and Orphan Train is on my to read list!
ReplyDeleteWow, nice patterns. It wpuld be hard to pick just one. I enjoyed reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, which is also on it's third season on tv.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning. Your quilt is so pretty, I love the colors. My favorite TV show is NCIS. I liked it better before so many original cast members quit. But it's still good.
