Newspaper Article

Those of us in the Central Florida Modern Quilt Guild are happy to have been featured in today's Daily Sun article - in the "Local" section, page C8. Member Mary, who has been going through the transition from traditional to modern quilter, is our "poster child."

Now if only the chapter's media coordinator, namely me, would have provided accurate information! I incorrectly submitted that our chapter meets the second Tuesday of the month, when in fact it's the second Monday of the month.

And I have a college degree in this stuff! Sheesh. Linda

  1. Prism is such a spectacular quilt, I am not tired of hearing about it! And I really love the whimsy of the little orange pieces in the binding. I am sending my Swoon off to be quilted this week. ( only been done 18 mo but I couldn't find the right backing) and I hope to remember that binding touch when the time comes!

  3. haha, it happens to the best of us. I'm sure no harm was done about the wrong day of the week and if someone new wants to join, they will find out when and where you meet.

  4. The print was too small to read the article, but I'm sure it was very informative even with the wrong day of the week. Keep up the good PR for quilters and quilts. We all have lots of fabric to use before we go.
