Hop on Board!

Strawberry Fizz and Lime Pop

That's what I'm going to call this quilt when it's finished in 2012.

Today it started... the Blogger's Block of the Month is being hosted by Jackie at Canton Village Quilt Works. Each month, on the 25th, a different designer will offer her block.

The 8-1/2" X 8-1/2" (unfinished) September block comes from Sherri McConnell at A Quilting Life. It was easy to sew. I probably spent more time choosing fabrics (pick one background fabric to use in all blocks) than cutting and sewing it!

Hop on board! Go here to get signed up. Then go here to get your September block. Linda

  1. Wow, you are fast. Love your colours very much. I'm also going to take part, but haven't even started to look for fabrics.

  3. I saw your pic on the Flickr pool and followed the links back to your blog. The fabric colours you chose are so pretty. It's the first time I've seen solid grey used and found the result appealing and compelling. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that there are others like me who are reconsidering how they feel about grey after they see your fabric combination.

  6. Linda,

I have seen different people making the blocks! So far I like your colors the best... the time you spent hunting for the "just right" fabrics is time well spent. :)

    Hugs.

  7. Okay Linda I'm in the BOM - now to go find some fabric before work - I think I will go with a coordinated background, but loads of different scraps - but then again thats subject to change....
