When I saw one of these on Beth's blog, LoveLaughQuilt, I knew I would make and give them as pre-Christmas, holiday decorating gifts for my daughter, and daughter-in-law.
Beth has a very nice tutorial here, calling these "Holiday Hexagons." They sew up quickly, and look as festive as I'd hoped.
Thank you Beth, for sharing this with me.
Those little red and green ornaments are actually salt and pepper shakers! I enjoy using them each December. Linda
Hi Linda
ReplyDeleteLove those placemats. I checked out the tutorial and it looks nice and easy. Thinks I'll print it out for next year when I want to make gifts.
Thanks for sharing.

Love the placemats. Great idea which i'll add to my collections. :) Hugs,
ReplyDeleteLinda these are wonderful!!! I made something similar last year, but they were smaller and rectangular.
ReplyDeleteLinda these are just so lovely
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and they shout "Merry Christmas".
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for a quick, festive gift. Thanks so much for bringing it to our attention! I love them!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Thanks for sharing this. I need to make something to put under my TV and this will be perfect if I just upsize it a bit.
ReplyDeleteI'm the "daughter in law" and I LOVE this placemat!! Nana's grandie Austin loves it, too! We have it placed on our recliner back as a nice holiday decoration that perfectly complements our tree!
ReplyDeleteWe love and miss you, Nana!
I like those a lot.
