Australia Day

I'm American, but with a child in Sydney, Australia, I have a special connection to that lovely country. To honor Australia Day, January 26, I made pavlova for the first time. It's a meringue and whipped cream dessert topped with fruit, and it's absolutely yummy! Good on 'ya, Aussies!

  2. That's a pretty good looking pav for a first try. I've tried twice and they're sorryful flat things. Still rather yummy.

  5. Hi Linda

I just found your blog. I am from New Zealand and I have to say that we think we invented the Pavlova :-) It is a funning argument between the 2 countries.
