A friend just mentioned that she saw my quilt in the Quilt Art Engagement Calendar! In the chaos of moving, I had completely forgotten about it!
My "Dashing the Churn" quilt is packed with the 115 other quilts and quilted items I'm taking along.
Who could ever have guessed it would be in print on exactly the week I'll no longer be a West Des Moines, Iowa resident?
It's still fun though. Being published. Not moving. Linda
Congratulations Linda and all the best in the big move. May you know the Lord's peace which passes knowledge.
ReplyDeletethat is kizmet ! amazing - and such a fabulous quilt :)
ReplyDeleteSniffle.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about you a lot this week, especially as we make final plans to get my mom packed and moved down here. I wish she was halfway as far along as you (and her closing date is only 17 days away!!)
You will be missed!
Exciting to see your quilt in print....you must be just about over the whole moving thing by now...probably just want to be where you are going?
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt in the calendar. I don't think I have ever seen it. I must go back and read your "whole" blog!
