I don't think you should make each corner look the same, just let it flow as it wants, just be try it out before you get back to the beginning. If you leave excess vine and finish the applique up to the end then stitch on the borders before completing the corners, that may give you motivation to finish the bulk of the work at least!Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12113969995309464102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1876048627096284071.post-54713129266853371192010-07-03T03:04:32.798-04:002010-07-03T03:04:32.798-04:00The borders are really going to crown the fabulous...The borders are really going to crown the fabulous quilt!Hannelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06710563980801302864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1876048627096284071.post-89239580201440060082010-07-02T20:13:42.847-04:002010-07-02T20:13:42.847-04:00I am so impressed that you hand pieced that quilt!...I am so impressed that you hand pieced that quilt! Amazing how angles can change the look of a quilt. I can see quilting decisions soon.DoubleLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05192022169567780056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1876048627096284071.post-77404653418313732912010-07-02T15:37:31.993-04:002010-07-02T15:37:31.993-04:00I hope that border doesn't give you too much t...I hope that border doesn't give you too much trouble. What you've gotten done looks wonderful. I have yet to even try that. I guess I'm going to have to figure out what way will work the best. Lovely. I could play with those corners for a year or two my self, lol. I would consider finishing the applique after the borders are on. This may give you more creative freedom. I also think on my quilt they would not all be the same. My biggest project is flower baskets from the Kansas City Star from a few years ago. Somehow I stalled out (shocking!) and have one basket left to applique (out of 12) and then I can put it together. Maybe I should have made a 10 in 10 committment!Carlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13368655338665362173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1876048627096284071.post-24078287674717980572010-07-02T09:13:46.402-04:002010-07-02T09:13:46.402-04:00Grin.... :-))Grin.... :-))Dihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13889316253491109814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1876048627096284071.post-37542337759392244312010-07-02T09:12:58.436-04:002010-07-02T09:12:58.436-04:00Linda, it's looking very, very pretty. As for the 10 in 10, nobody told me I couldn't change my selection during the year so I still have 10 projects, but they mightn't be the same 10 I started out with :-)) If you try to tell me now, I probably won't listen .Dihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13889316253491109814noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1876048627096284071.post-54537445070267526902010-07-02T09:10:37.246-04:002010-07-02T09:10:37.246-04:00It is so beautiful!
